Life Goes On

So, life beats on around here. It's so great to be home. I was gone for 13 days, which is lightyears in the life of an 18 month old and an almost 3 year old. I can't get over how much the boys have changed over the past two weeks. Joel is talking like crazy and is definitely a toddler now - there's no baby about him. He and Samuel are playing together more and more every day. And they are MISCHEVIOUS!! I know I will have my hands full with them. Here are some of their recent antics:
Hanging out of the upstairs window (don't worry, Ed is standing behind them):

Row, row, rowing their boats with Gram:

I even managed to sneak away from home Friday night. I went to a Girlfriend's Night Out at church. I behaved myself and sat in a chair the whole time.

Glad to see you're getting out. Don't even think of getting off that chair! Remember, just a few new things each week. Hope the boys didn't see how Daddy opened the window!
Take care and sending my love.....Aunt Karen

Wow, you look great! It is good to see you out enjoying yourself. I can't believe how much Samuel looks just like you did at that age! (including the sparkle of ornery in his eyes). Love, Lynette

Hey Leah!
I have been praying for you a lot! I just haven't been able to write you a comment to let you know. Hollie also told me about your struggles with your tummy so I have been thinking about how similar your stuff sounds to Justins. He didn't have his colon out, just about 12 inches of his intestines! :) But anyway I am sure you are mending and healing well, I just know it is a long process and being a mommy...well, you have to dive carefully back into life! It's great that you have such a neat church family around and that your parents/inlaws/husband are so supportive to just take with the boys ... blessings indeed!
Not that I can do much, but if there is anything that I can do from here to encourage you let me know.
I'll keep praying and thanks for looking at our blog too. It is neat to have others look into our life!
Rest well and press on friend!
