Around the House

Samuel came home from Sunday School last week with this creation:

Joel has really gotten into drawing people. Samuel still doesn't do this, so I am experiencing this for the first time. It's so fun!! Here is one of his drawings on the whiteboard in our basement:

 

The boys decided to snuggle on the couch last week and watch their Leap Frog Let's Go to School video:

 

 

Samuel has not been at all interested in writing his name. I finally put down my foot last week and had him start trying a little every day. Here is the first time Samuel ever wrote his name by himself (I wrote the top one, he wrote the bottom one):

 

The next day he traced a plastic bat left over from Halloween and sounded out and wrote the word bat after writing his name:
