Thanks Jen!

We were in Fort Wayne this past weekend to visit friends and pick up some things from my mom and dad's. I, of course, forgot to bring my camera. We were a sight! We stayed in my parents' empty house for the first two nights. Samuel was a real trooper - he slept on a pile of comforters in the corner! It wasn't too bad, really, but we decided to give in and go stay at my brother's apt the last night. It was like moving from the Motel 6 to the Hilton! He gave up his king size bed for us and let us take over his kitchen and living room. Thanks Kev!

So, as far as that forgetting the camera thing, I was able to snap a few photos of the boys on Monday with Jen's camera and she also sent me a few pictures she snapped on Saturday when we all went over to Ohio to see Dave & Coricia's new baby. Don't these two melt your hearts?

The new big sis, Grace:

And her baby, Emma:

We went to a little Memorial Day picnic on Monday and Samuel and Joel took over the Potter's bike (which they broke by the way - sorry again, Jen!). Here's Joel feeling pretty cool:

And then Samuel wanted in on the action:

And a little closer:

And a little closer (doesn't Joel looked THRILLED to be sharing with his brother?):

Let me guess... the handle broke off the bike?
Well, little tykes knows about this design flaw and will make provisions for a replacement if you call them. But of course it will break again.
They sent us a check that probably could be used toward another little tykes product.
So Leah, it's not your fault :-)

Wait...the handle broke off our bike like that one too! Maybe I should call them? It looks like your boys are getting closer in size like Meredith and Jonathan are. They sure are cute. Ben was watching sports and I saw a clip of a Cubs game. They had a close up of a little boy in a cubs jersey and he looked just like Joel. You weren't there were you?

Hey Leah, we have about two more weeks, can't wait!
How are you and all your boys doing? From the pictures here I can tell your life must be a lot of fun :-) Say hi to Ed.

Isn't it amazing that the closer Samuel gets to Joel's space the happier he gets and the more disturbed his brother gets. Makes life interesting doesn't it. See you soon, Aunt Karen.
