Playing & Enjoying the View

We have been really blessed to live next door to some great people. They have 2 kids who are 6 and 3. Samuel has loved playing with them, as well as the other neighborhood kids that congregate in our front yard each day. Here is Samuel with the neighbors:

If you notice, everyone is wearing sweatsuits and sweaters - it can be really chilly here! I've heard of the 100+ degree weather everyone else seems to be having - that just seems silly to us here.

Also, as I was sitting down to post this, I realized just how lovely the area is where we are living. Here is what I am looking at as I post to the blog at this very moment:

We are taking a ferry into the city today for some sightseeing. I'll let you know how it goes. It looks like it is going to be a lovely day. Take care and know that we love you all!!

I'm so glad that someone taught you to dress your child appropriately for the cooler weather. A hood and shoes. I'm so proud!

I really miss you.

Wow - I was looking at the pictures and wondering why on earth you were dressed so warmly and then I read you comments. That seems so crazy to be cold right now! You have a beautiful view and I would LOVE to feel the cool, fall temperatures like you are. Enjoy every minute of it!

It is beautiful! I loved the area when I lived in Monterey. God's finger prints are everywhere. :) And it would be nice to wear some jeans right now!! Can't wait to see other pictures of the city.
Have a wonderful week. Gi
