Our Big News

As some of you may know, Ed will be graduating from Southeastern Seminary in May. What most of you DON'T know, however, is what we will be doing from there. Well, consider yourselves now in the KNOW....

We are moving to San Francisco, California!!!!!

Ed has been accepted into the PhD program at Golden Gate Seminary. We will be living in Mill Valley, which is technically across the bay from San Francisco. The pictures below show the views from the school.

If you want to know more about the school, go to www.ggbts.edu.

We will be renting a 2 bedroom apartment on campus. This apartment is a whopping 650 square feet! Let's just say things will be cozy. BUT, come on, this is California we're talking about!

We are both really excited about the move. It will be tough to leave our church family here in North Carolina - that has been the sad part in all of this. But, we will be closer to Ed's sister and family. They will be about an hour away from us. Samuel will have the opportunity to know his two cousins, Grace and Ava. And we hope to entice lots of visitors to the SF area.

We will probably be moving in July. Please consider yourself invited!

i thought the "sad part in all of this" would be leaving US...

Yeah - where's the sad part in Samuel leaving his friend Will? Sad news, but I second granpa gary's comment.

And I thought the "sad part in all of this" would be being that much closer to Barry Bonds.

Considering the dearth of people in the library it looks like Ed will have an easy time. Does nobody study on that campus?

How exciting!!! And I must say I'm jealous that Ed is graduating so soon--I think we're on the 10 year track at Southeastern! ;)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to call for you guys to be placed under church discipline for your unrepentant failure to accept the Lord's will for you to minister here in Wake Forest. And, since we cannot realse your letter while you are under church discipline, you will be unable to join a church in California. And without a loacl church affiliation you cannot receive tuition matching. And without tuition matching you can't begin to afford to attend. So, save yourself the greif, repent now, and put away these silly ideas of SF!

Okay, I'll repent instead and try to be happy for this next chapter in your lives. We love you guys so much and your absence will only make us long the more for heaven when the goodbyes will be faint memories.
