As you know, before Samuel was born, we were praying for our little baby to thrive. He was hovering at the 10th percentile for size and we ended up delivering him a little early so that he would hopefully thrive on the outside. Well PRAISE THE LORD for the wonders of breastmilk. Samuel went for his 2 week checkup today and he weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces! The goal was to have him back at his birth weight of 5 pounds 13 ounces by his 2 week checkup. He obviously went above and beyond! We are so thankful to the Lord for giving us a healthy baby and helping him to really thrive on the outside. Thank you to all of you who have been praying for him. We hope you have opportunity to pinch his chubby little cheeks soon. XOXO.
