I hadn't done anything in Samuel's room since we moved to Chicago because I wasn't sure if the new baby would be a boy or a girl. Now that we have two boys, I decided to do a Cars, Trucks, Transportation theme in their room. All decor is compliments of Target. I am really pleased with it all. OH! And I wanted to mention that Samuel took his first nap in his Big Boy Bed yesterday. He did great - slept 2 hours and 15 minutes. I put him to bed for the night in the Big Boy Bed and he went down fine. He did wake up at 5:15am though and was crying a little bit, so Ed went in and put him in his crib to finish out the night. He slept until 8:00am. We are thinking of doing Big Boy Bed for naps and the crib for nighttime for awhile. We'll see how it goes.

The bed transition was a big one for us too!! Thankfully James took beautifully to his new bed, and we even tried doing the "bed for naps, crib for nighttime" and James got so attached to his bed that when we tried to put him back in his crib, he went crazy on us! The only thing I didn't like was waking up one night at 3 AM with James in my face staring at me!!
I'm glad to hear everything is going well! I love reading your stories!
Wow! It looks great. I am glad everyone is doing well. You are way ahead of me I am still trying to decide what I want to do with the boys room. I am thinking a spots theme....
The room looks great! I like the theme too. How fun to decorate the room for 2 boys!
