I just finished stripping them, but talked with Cottonbabies and found out you should never go more than 2 days between washing diapers because bacteria will build up, baking soda and vinegar are hard on diapers, and washing on cold is good. I've started using a sports wash that hunter's also use because it leaves no smell and no residue. I still like the performance fabrics because it wicks away the moisture from her bum and the BG hold more than the prefolds. Lydia is also very wiggly when I change her so putting on a prefold, snappi, and cover are just too much to make cloth diapering doable for me. I do really like the kissaluvs though if you're looking to get away from performance fabrics.
